Kathy Wetherell Dies in Car Accident

Kathy Wetherell Longtime television producer was killed in a car accident on Dec. 20 in Arizona. Kathy Wetherell was 48.Wetherell's vehicle crashed head-on into a tour bus early Saturday morning east of Wickenburg on State Route 74, according to Arizona TV station ABC 15.

Officials believe the Cal State Fullerton graduate may have been trying to avoid an animal when she veered into the path of the bus.

Kathy Wetherell broke into showbiz on "General Hospital" before turning her attention to reality television. Among her credits were "Road Rules," "The Real World," "Making the Band," "The Bachelor," "Married by America," "Outback Jack," "Flavor of Love," "Charm School" and "Rock of Love."

Kathy Wetherell is survived by her husband, parents, brother and nephews.
